About Us
Historic Gastro Pub in Holyport, Berkshire
A Classic Village Pub for Modern Dining
Nestled in the picturesque village of Holyport near Maidenhead, and overlooking the tranquil village pond, The Belgian Arms is a much-loved gastro pub with over 200 years of history. Just a short drive from Windsor, Bray and Ascot, we’re proud to be a local favourite and a hidden gem for those visiting Berkshire.
A Historic Village Favourite
Originally known as The Eagle, the pub was renamed during the First World War in honour of the many local residents who served in Belgium. The area’s wartime history is a poignant part of our story, and the character of this historic pub has been lovingly preserved.
Seasonal British Cooking
The pub’s style is understated and earthy, reflecting our philosophy of quality through simplicity. Our menu focuses on fresh, seasonal British ingredients, cooked with traditional techniques and presented without fuss. The result? Honest, delicious dishes that celebrate the best of British produce.
Your Year-Round Local
With roaring log fires in winter and a stunning garden with willow trees for summer dining, The Belgian Arms is truly a pub for all seasons. Enjoy a cosy meal inside or unwind outdoors with a view of the pond.
Our aim is simple: to be one of the best pubs in Berkshire, offering everything a great pub should — excellent food, superb drinks, a warm and friendly atmosphere, and efficient, attentive service.
